My Journey with God through Stiff Person Syndrome is a riveting heartfelt true story about a person living with a rare disease called Stiff Person Syndrome. Tisha Foster gives credit to God for allowing her to live with this debilitating disease that creates triggers, distorts your walking, and creates a muscle spasm that puts you on the ground.
It’s a disease that affects one out of every million people and Miss Foster is committed to bringing awareness to the world by sharing the symptoms, the hardship that it brings and how it affects the people around an individual living with this disability. Take a ride through the fabulous life she once lived before being diagnosed with SPS, and the wonderful life she now lives with it, through the Grace of God!
The most important steps I have taken was 21 trillion steps to glory, 10,000 trillion steps to God’s most precious gift, 50 billion steps to the greatest lesson ever learned to live with Stiff Person Syndrome. Walking by faith with Stiff Person Syndrome. The greatest walking in God’s Faith And Mercy!
Throughout my emotional and physical journey with SPS, I would experience a great deal of pain and agony. I would be misdiagnosed several times by different doctors in different states until one doctor would discover the real disease I had developed.
I believe not knowing what was going on with me bothered me the most. It was a struggle for me to maintain my faith in God, and at one point, had given up on calling His name. It took some time for me to find my way back, but when I did realize God had me, my terrible experience had become clear that He was teaching me a very valuable lesson.
God took me on my journey to show me that there are things in life more precious than the materialistic things I allowed to consume my life. And that’s good health, family and to never give up on believing in God!
